The best places I’ve ever traveled to can all be summed up in one word, but it’s a huge word so I’ll break it down by category. Here are the five best places I have ever traveled to based on each of the following factors
1. Guanajuato, Mexico
Guanajuato is said to be the most beautiful city in Mexico. I’d traveled there in 2015 to see the beauty with my own eyes, and that was absolutely true. I was fascinated with the colorful view spread in front of me. It’s a little city, but the beautiful scenery and happy-looking people made me feel like I was at home and I could stay long without doing anything, there are many things to do such as visiting waterfalls and doing adventure activities just outside of town though. If your looking for a little adventure while traveling through Mexico I would definitely recommend Guanajuato.

2. Porto, Portugal
Porto is my favorite destination in Europe. It is likely pictures of either Drunken Sailors or scenes from movies like The Dark Knight Rises. When I arrived there, the beautiful scenery touched my heart, the view of the Baltic sea and the historical architecture. Everything matched perfectly. Additionally, people are so nice, and smiley, and the food is so good and cheap. Now you want to go to Porto? You should go ASAP!
I’m sure that you actually get to go there and explore (and not after several pints at a pub), and you will feel the same as me.
The beauty of Bali is incomparable; from pristine beaches to picturesque rice paddies, it’s a land rich in culture and natural treasures. Bali is a great place for anyone who loves sun, sand, and beach and meeting people! Some popular places to visit are Ubud, Candi Dasa, Seminyak Beach and Nusa Dua. It’s easy to spend 1-2 weeks traveling around Bali.
Granada is a vibrant and picturesque city in southern Spain that holds an entire country within its walls. It is one of my favorite places to travel in Europe: it’s easy to navigate, filled with local culture and friendly people, and packed with beautiful architecture, restaurants, and cafés. A trip here recharged me with courage for adventure travel. My favorite places to go is Alhambra and Albaicín.
Additionally, Granada is also home to many beautiful parks and gardens. The Generalife, a Moorish garden, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. Visitors can also explore the Alcazaba, an 11th-century fortress, or enjoy a walk through the Paseo de Los Tristes, a promenade that runs along the river.
Granada is a city with a long history and culture. It was once home to the Moors, an Islamic people who ruled Spain for centuries. Today, visitors can learn about Granada’s Moorish past by visiting the city’s museums and monuments.
It is an incredibly beautiful city with a lot to offer visitors. From its stunning architecture to its rich history and culture, there is something for everyone in Granada.
5. Siem Reap, Cambodia
One destination instantly springs to mind when you think of significant archaeological sites in Southeast Asia: Angkor Wat and Siem Reap is home to Angkor Wat.
Siem Reap has it all and is one of my favorite places to travel! … The Temples of Angkor will also impress with their large-scale structures which were built over 1,000 years ago. The city is filled with delicious and exotic food as well as many friendly people who are always willing to share their culture with you!
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit some amazing countries in my lifetime. These are the five best countries that I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. I hope you get the chance to visit them all someday too.
